I could relate strongly to your post. I often find myself drifting off to sleep, willing my unconscious to dream of Jane. I've never been successful in willing myself to dream of her, but I have had two dreams of her since her death. One was about a week after her birth / death and it was very powerful- I dreamed of holding her and instead of blood coming out of her mouth (as had been the case at the time of her death), there was milk and she was alive. My first inclination was that it was just wishful thinking; however, when I told my mom about the dream she thought it was Janie's way of telling me she is ok. My mom is much more rock solid in her beliefs of the afterlife than I am, but it was comforting nonetheless. The other dream was more recent and more abstract than the first. I dreamed she was in the form of a Blackbird that came and pecked me on the hand. Blackbird (by the Beatles) is a song I strongly associate with her. Since that dream I can conjure up the feeling of that bird pecking my hand, whenever I think about it. Weird, I know.

Sending positive thoughts to you, Eva's Mama as I know the reversal is coming up soon. Fingers crossed for you & your husband!
